This ultra-modern setting exudes the flavour of the past. The Hotel’s facade, highlighted by its art deco appearance, hides a private and elegant setting that will captivate you as you enter the reception hall. Contemporary decor designed by the architect/designer Axel Schoenert creates a zen-like atmosphere, enhancing the overall sense of calm and relaxation. Indeed, the Hotel Gabriel Paris Marais is the first “Detox Hotel” entirely devoted to well-being and regeneration. The “Detox” concept focuses on internal ecology: purification of the body, sleep and healthy food are the essential keys to general well-being. We serve an organic breakfast, including cereals, milk, cheese, yoghurts, honey, jam, eggs, five types of bread, certain teas, a fruit basket and a daily assortment of pastries, all of which originates from organic farms. It allows you to detoxify your body of chemicals and preservatives that are usually present in these products. The “detox bar” reflects this harmonious environment. Antioxidant drinks and a wide selection of teas are available. For those who prefer to practice the Ying and the Yang of tox-detox, our barman’s delicious alcoholic creations are available to be enjoyed in moderation. Massages and skin care treatments can also be reserved in the Bioo Detox Room, our “detox” treatment room - this is the “Hotel Gabriel” experience. The Hotel Gabriel is committed to promoting the well-being of body and mind through sleep. Subdued colours and Axel Schoenert’s white decor give our rooms the quiet setting needed for the ideal “detox experience”. Beautiful original furnishings, sophisticated lighting, artwork by the Australian artist Mark Stuart and the superior comfort of luxury bedding are complemented by cutting-edge technology with an LCD screen, an iPod station, LED lights, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning and unlimited Wi-Fi access. A range of detoxifying treatments is available in each of our rooms, including toiletries by Korres Natural Products. The Hotel Gabriel is the first in the world to offer the NightCove* sleep system in certain rooms. It was developed in partnership with the designer Patrick Jouin and Professor Damien Léger, a scientific expert in the field of sleep disorders. In this room, guests can enjoy programmes for sleep and for waking up, ambient music and lighting, siesta sequences and other options. This sleep system provides a variety of light and sound programmes throughout the various phases of the sleep cycle. Acting directly on the body’s melatonin levels, it provides a soothing, tranquil sleep. You can also configure it during the day (for a nap or a relaxation session) and synchronise it with a computer to read MP3 files. |
